Supertech Twin Towers located in Sector-93 of Noida will be blasted and demolished on August 28 at 2.30 pm.

About 3,700 kg of explosives have been used to demolish the building. On the day the building is demolished, the traffic on the expressway will remain closed for some time.

The 40-storey twin towers located in Sector-93 of Noida were constructed in 2009. More than 950 flats were to be built in both the towers of Supertech.

In the year 2014, strongly reprimanding the Noida Authority, the Allahabad High Court declared the Twin Towers illegal and ordered them to be demolished.

A plot of land was allotted to Noida Development Authority Supertech in November 2004 for the construction of housing society.
