40-year-old tennis star Serena Williams has announced her retirement. Serena Williams is about to say goodbye to tennis after this year's final Grand Slam tournament.

After appearing on the cover of Vogue's September issue, the 40-year-old tennis star wrote on Instagram: "There comes a time in life when we have to decide to move in a different direction."

Serena Williams, who has won the US Open six times, has won the title 6 times in her career while performing brilliantly in the US Open.

Serena has written her name in the US Open in the years 1999, 2002, 2008, 2012, 2013 and 2014. At the same time, he has also won the Grand Slam 23 times
